It’s that time of year again! MSVU Art Gallery is once again inviting you to be part of our Annual Mount Community Show. Now entering its 51st year, this annual extravaganza celebrates the creative talents of Mount students, faculty, alumnae, retirees, and family members.
Are you a visual artist or craftsperson? A filmmaker or photographer? A writer, cartoonist, or musician? Maybe you’re a model railroader, a stand-up comic, a perfumer, or a puppeteer. Whatever you do, we’d love to see it!
Mount community members are encouraged to submit up to two works in any media to be included in the show or presented at the reception.
To participate, please fill in the submission form below and return it to the Gallery, via email (art.gallery@msvu.ca) or in hard copy, by November 27. You can drop off artworks to be exhibited at the Gallery Office (Seton Academic Centre, Room 206—we’re beside the Seton Café between November 23–27 from 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.
If you’d like to present a performance, or if your work is large, has complex installation instructions, or requires audio-visual equipment, please contact Gallery staff to discuss.
We will endeavor to exhibit or present all works submitted. To help us achieve this goal, please ensure that all works are exhibition-ready and labeled with your name and contact information. We can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us!
